Writing Labs (Grades 7-12)

CCS is offering a brand new series of activities to help students improving their basic writing skills. Do you have a student who would rather do math or science homework than write something? Does your child love to write but needs structure to express creativity? Does the writing process intimidate your student? Good news, there is an answer!

I would rather have all my teeth pulled out with a pair of rusty pliers than have to write something!
If this statement describes your child, this is one workshop the student should not miss! If you as the parent educator feel the same way about grading your student's writing assignments, this is one workshop you cannot miss!

This lab is recommended for students in grade 6 and up. Parents are required to attend this workshop along with their students. Each one-day session is from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

Summer Writing Basics Labs:

• June Writing Basics Labs | dates & locations TBA | registration closes May 19, 2009
• July Writing Basics Labs  | dates & locations TBA | registration closes June 24, 2009
• August Writing Basics Labs | dates & locations TBA | registration closes July 21, 2009
• Other sessions will be added after school starts for the 2009–2010 year.

Registration fee: $50.00 per CCS family | $75.00 per non-CCS family

This fee includes registration and materials for one student/parent team; additional fees apply for additional students.

Registration fees are due at time of registration and are non-refundable.
