Coming Events for 2010-2011
In preparation for our 25th anniversary, Circle Christian School is excited to announce new opportunities for the 2010-11 school year. The new class and program offerings are the most extensive in our history. We are also pleased to announce a new campus location at Calvary Assembly in Winter Park.
Enrollment for 2010-2011
Enrollment opens Monday, February 1, 2010 and closes on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 4:00pm. All class and program offerings will be available on the website beginning Tuesday, February 24, 2009.
Class and Program Registration
Registration for all Circle classes and programs will begin on Friday, March 5, 2010 via an online registration system. Complete details will be listed on the Circle Web site in the beginning of February.
Information for K-8 Programs
K-8 Program Director, Carla Calvert will be hosting Open Houses to visit the programs and classes. This meeting is for families considering enrollment for next school year as well as current families who want to visit the programs.

Bye Bye Birdie Spring Show
The Circle Theatre Company will present its full-mounted production of Bye Bye Birdie performed at the Orlando Repertory Theatre, 1001 E. Princeton Street, Orlando.

High School Workshop for Grades 9-11
Required Workshop for NEW Families with High School Students in Grades 9-11
An Enrollment Application must be submitted prior to attendance. This workshop is intended for parents but high school students may attend with their parents if desired. No siblings, please. Attendance is required before having an initial high school planning conference with Sue McIntyre. It will be held at the Circle office complex, 4644 Adanson Street, Orlando on:
- Thursday, March 25, 1:00-4:00pm
- Tuesday, April 27, 1:00-4:00pm.
The summer high school workshop will be held at Calvary Assembly on:
- Thursday, July 8, 1:00-4:00pm.

Fundamental Ingredients for Successful Homeschooling
Linda Werner, co-founder, of Circle Christian School, will host this workshop for parents with students in grades K-8. It will be held at two locations from 12:30 - 3:30pm in March and then at Calvary Assembly in May and June. The July 10 event will be held from 9:00am-12:00. See the details below.
The same material is covered in each session. See the Activities Calendar on the CCS website for the topics covered. This is a required workshop for families enrolling with K-8 grade students for the 2010-2011 school year. It is also open to the community, free of charge. Registration is required.

Middle and High School Writing Workshops
Because this workshop is a prerequisite for many of our classes, students entering Middle School or High School classes will need to register for one of the dates for the summer one-day workshop. Students and parents will learn the skills for writing that will be reinforced in CCS Language Arts / English classes.
Additionally, students and parents will be aware of the structure and standards by which papers written will be measured and graded at Circle. Those students who had previously participated in the workshop last summer do not need to take it again.

New Family Orientation
This required event is for new families enrolling students in Circle for the 2010-2011 school year. The workshop covers policies, procedures, field trips, and monthly reports. It will be held from 12:30 - 3:30pm on the following dates. The same material is covered in each session.

Used Curriculum Sale
This annual used curriculum event will be held on Saturday, June 5, 8:00-10:30am in Faith Hall at First Baptist Church Orlando. Seller packets will be available beginning April 30 on the Circle Web site.
