Athletic Director - Lisa Tipton

Lisa TiptonLisa and her husband, Bill, have been married for twenty years. They have three children who have been homeschooled through Circle from the beginning of their school career.

Athletics has always been a part of Lisa's life. With a football coach and Athletic Director for a father and a physical education teacher and cheerleader sponsor for a mother, Lisa was destined to a life revolving around sports. Using her God-given talents, she pursued track and field, tennis, cheerleading, all beginning in elementary school. She continued this path through high school. While in high school, Lisa also served in numerous leadership roles, which also continued into adulthood. Most recently, she served as Director of Women's Ministry at Willow Creek Church in Winter Springs.

In college at Florida International University, Lisa received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. After graduation, for almost ten years, she worked in out-patient orthopedic physical therapy.

Her passion for sports and the discipline, determination, and focus learned through athletics has continued into adulthood where she has participated in road races, triathlons, and most recently a century bicycle ride which is cycling a hundred miles in one day!

Her greatest passion is her family and in helping her children to discover and understand their unique giftedness.

As Athletic Director at CCS, Lisa plans to continue the tradition of providing a place for students who have an athletic focus, not only to "play," but to fully develop and use their God-given talents and learn life lessons and skills that will serve them into adulthood. Through learning to "run the race," students will learn to run with perseverance the more important race called life and in so doing, the Author of the race will be their guide as He continues to perfect their faith.
