Tricia Bores

Tricia is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Marketing.  She also has a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Dayton.   Prior to teaching at Circle, Tricia was the Director of Children's Ministry for four years at a local church.  Tricia and her husband, D.J., have been married for seventeen years and have three children.  They have been a homeschooling family for ten years.  This will be Tricia's third year teaching for HOUSE Apopka.

Bryna Cannon
Bryna was homeschooled through Circle from third grade until she graduated from high school in 2004.  She then went on to acquire a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Central Florida in 2007.  She has been married to Rob, a 2002 Circle graduate, for two years. For the past eight years, she has been involved in various facets of children's ministry in her home church, including theatrical children's church for elementary-aged children on Sunday mornings and Wednesday night Bible-based classes with middle-school-aged girls. She has substituted for the past two years and is excited to have the opportunity to share her love for learning with the students of Circle.  Though she does not currently have any children, she does look forward to homeschooling her own children one day.

Tanya Carpenter

Tanya is a native Floridian born and raised in Apopka.  Currently, she resides in Mt. Dora with her husband, Dan, and two children, McKenzie and Danny.  Tanya graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management and a promise to her parents that she would never become a teacher.  After working several years in the business arena as an Area Trainer, Tanya surrendered to God's plan for her life and returned to her Alma Mater, Apopka High School, to teach full time in the business department.  Tanya's teaching style and philosophy are based on the belief that all teachers must foster and develop personal relationships among students.  The motto that has always guided Tanya is "no one cares what you know, unless they know you care."   Tanya along with her husband has taught Sunday school for six years at First Presbyterian Church in Orlando.  They also coach a Little League team together.  The Carpenters are thankful to be a part of the Circle family and forever grateful for helping Tanya realize her dream job – being a homeschool mother.

Elisabeth Graeser

Elisabeth graduated from Circle in 2002 and from The Florida College of Natural Health with a National Massage Therapy License.  Elisabeth is currently working full time as Circle's Assistant Athletic Director.  She was homeschooled at Circle from kindergarten through twelfth grade, has worked at Circle for five years, and has taught for three years in the HOUSE program.  Elisabeth is married to Tim.  Having been born and raised a Circle student, Elisabeth has loved participating in the lives of students every day.

Franchesca Haig

Franchesca graduated in 1999 from Florida Metropolitan University with a degree in Medical Assisting.  She put her medical career on hold when God in His infinite wisdom called her to stay home with her children while they were young.   The plan was to reenter the work force when her youngest child entered kindergarten.  God once again intervened and the call came to homeschool the children.  They began their homeschooling journey in 2004.  Since that time, teaching has become a passion.  She looks for every opportunity to instruct those around her.  This is the Haig family's fourth year with Circle.  In addition to teaching at Circle, Franchesca is also the Director of Children's Ministry at First United Methodist Church of Apopka.

Tina Kimmel

Tina was born and raised in the Orlando area.  She and her husband Ken live in Southwest Orlando and have been homeschooling their son, Zackery, since 2007.  Tina graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business and Finance from Florida Southern College, a Christian college in Lakeland, FL.  She has a desire to share her knowledge, experiences, and gifts to inspire and encourage children and families.  While Tina pursued a career in finance for many years, her heart stays with children's ministries.  Prior to earning her degree, she taught in early childhood classrooms and assisted the director of a local Child Development Center.  Tina remains dedicated to teaching and serving in her local church VBS, Sunday school, and children's ministry programs.

Cassie Largaespada

Cassie has been married for ten years and has four children, ranging from kindergarten through fifth grade.  She was homeschooled as a child until seventh grade, and has been homeschooling her own children for five years.  In addition, Cassie teaches Sunday school for 2 year olds at her church.  Cassie loves math and has taught higher math to high school homeschoolers for years.

Sheila Lowry

Sheila is from Donalsonville, GA.  She attended college in Georgia and started teaching at an early age.  Her first teaching experience was as a Sunday school teacher at her church.  She is married to Frank and they have one son, Gabe, who will be a tenth-grader in the fall.  Sheila taught in a Christian school before deciding to homeschool.  This will be the Lowrys' eighth year with Circle.  This will be Sheila's seventh year with the HOUSE program.  Sheila says that she is so grateful for her Circle family and the opportunity to serve in this way.

Jayci McKinney

Jayci graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education where she taught in the multi-age setting at Celebration School.  She was originally born in Southern Illinois, however, moved to Central Florida over twenty-five years ago and cannot imagine a better place to live.  Jayci is passionate about children and their growth socially, mentally, and spiritually.  She attends Journey Christian Church where her husband of eleven years, Mitch, is the lead teaching Pastor. Their son, Mason, is almost four years old.  This is her fifth year teaching for HOUSE Apopka.  Jayci is enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with your children at HOUSE Apopka!  Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.    Prov. 22:6

Kim Schionning

Kim has been married for sixteen years and has three children.  This will be her tenth year homeschooling with Circle and teaching in the HOUSE program.  She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida.  She worked for the City of Orlando for approximately ten years in recreation.  She taught almost every elementary grade level in Orlando, at sites ranging from a small private school to one of the at-risk public schools.  She was also a part of the physical education program for several years in a local elementary school.  Kim is looking forward to teaching boys at all of the HOUSE locations in this upcoming school year!

Tim Werner

Tim is currently attending University of Central Florida.  He was homeschooled at Circle from kindergarten through twelfth grade and is a 2006 CCS graduate.  Over the years he has developed a love for working with children, especially in the area of sports.  Tim has been active in competitive sports since he was in second grade and has a vast knowledge of sports and what it takes to improve and succeed.  Having assisted in teaching some classes in the past, he is looking forward to this next year as he prepares to teach and influence his future students on a deeper level of training and commitment.
