Enrollment Information
Enrollment in Circle is open to all Christian homeschooling households that are committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and are in agreement with its doctrinal statement as well as its procedures, policies, and standards. Circle does not exclude families from enrollment in its programs and activities based on race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin. However, because Circle is a distinctly Christian organization, the administration reserves the right to discriminate in areas of religious beliefs and affiliations.
Acceptance for enrollment in Circle is at the discretion of the Administration. It is based upon the satisfactory completion of all application requirements and a thorough review of all responses on the application forms. The only exception to the enrollment deadline will be current homeschooling families relocating to this area. Circle must have all official student records. Children who are registered in other programs (such as those registered with local public school superintendents under Florida Statute 1002.41) will not be considered for enrollment in Circle if the other organization functions as the school of record. If any student enrolled in Circle has been registered with a public school system, a notification in writing must be sent to the county that the student is no longer being homeschooled though the county system.
The enrollment deadline for the 2008-09 school year is Thursday, June 19, 2008.
Application Process
Before enrollment acceptance, the following requirements must be fulfilled prior to the June 19, 2008 deadline.
- Complete and submit a Family Application
- Complete and submit the appropriate Student Enrollment Application form(s) for each child to be enrolled with copies of the following documents.
- Birth certificate
- Immunization record
- Evidence of a school-entry health examination
- Most recent report card for students entering grades 1-9 *
- Transcript for students entering grades 10-12 and grade 9 as appropriate *
- Pay the appropriate Enrollment Fees. The $ 75.00 Application Fee and High School Student Fee(s) are due at the time of application.
* All transfer students applying for enrollment in Circle are required to provide evidence of supporting documentation to determine academic status. Circle may require incoming students to take a standardized achievement test if the administration determines a student's records lack appropriate academic documentation.
Upon Enrollment Acceptance
Families will be notified upon enrollment acceptance. Enrolled families are responsible to attend all required meetings and pay appropriate fees according to the fee schedule.
